Here's a list of players who haven't been picked up yet but might be in the near future.

Most of the attention has been on pitching, but if you need a bat -- there are still plenty of them available. The Windy City sports three of hottest players in baseball. Carlos Lee and Paul Konerko of the Pale Hose and Derek Lee of the Cubbies. If you need to pump up the average and stolen bases, Florida's Juan Pierre is still available. Other players that might help include Pat Burrell, Erubiel Durzao, Phil Nevin, Daryle Ward, Ken Harvey and Mike Sweeney.
As for pitching, David Wells has been brillant since his return from the DL. Oliver Perez is available but might be a gamble because he pitches for the Pirates. Joel Pineiro has had a couple of good outings and may be ready to turn it around but be warned he plays for the hitting poor Mariners. Other usable pitchers, Jaret Wright, Doug Davis, Jerome Williams, Ted Lilly and Jeff Suppan.
